ABOUT US

We represent the Florida State University Club Softball team, a competitive fast-pitch softball team entirely created, managed and run by current students at FSU. Each year tryouts are held in the Fall semester and Spring semester as the team competes, practices and trains for Regionals and Nationals.

Throughout the years since its creation as a sport club at Florida State University, the Lady Seminoles have grown and become more and more competitive. As a member of the National Club Softball Association, we have made it to the National Club Softball World Series consistently. We have placed in the top 5 in 2017 and 2018, earned Runner-Up in 2013 and 2014, and took home the National title in 2009 and 2011.

As a member of the team, there are fees that are required in order to play. They vary from year to year but are usually around $250 per semester for new players and $150 per semester for returning players. This cost helps cover the league charge, travel fees, and uniforms for new players.

In order to be eligible to participate, all students must meet the requirements of the National Club Softball Association.

1) Are NOT on academic probation or warning

2) Hold at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA

3) Are currently enrolled at Florida State University

4) Are currently enrolled in a minimum of 12.0 undergraduate credit hours at Florida State University, OR are currently enrolled in enough undergraduate credit hours to sufficiently graduate at the end of the current semester, OR are enrolled in enough graduate credit hours to satisfy Florida State University's requirements to be considered a full-time graduate student

Our practices are held at the FSU Rec Sportsplex, which is located off campus on Tyson Road, about a 10 minute drive from campus.
